Do you have Ford Production Record and Build Sheets?

Answer

The Benson Ford Research Center has limited Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury production records. The records listed below are the only ones we have.

Ford Model T 1909-1911 (serial numbers 1,119 to 70,920)
Ford/Mercury 1947 (serial numbers 1,400,002 to 1,412,549

Mercury January 1949 (serial numbers 9CM241 to 9CM268245) (many missing)

Lincoln L 1920-1932 (serial numbers 1 to 3208, 1 to 65251)
Lincoln K (includes K8, KA, KB) 1930-1939
Lincoln 1936-1948
Lincoln Mark II 1956 only (C56-7980 to C56-J-3348) (many missing)

The information found in the production records varies depending on the type and time period of the vehicle. However, records may include the serial and model type/number, assembly date, color and trim information, ship date and accessories. Details on the shipment of a vehicle to a branch or dealer are sometimes noted on a record. We typically do not have information on the original or subsequent owners of the vehicles.

To order a production record for your vehicle, please fill out and email back our Production Record Order Form, there is a $35 fee per vehicle. If your car does not fall within these date/serial number ranges we do not have the records and do not know of any sources who do.
